OVERVIEW :

North Sikkim - East Sikkim excursion Highlights Visit to the Highest Altitude lake of India The Gurudongmar Lake at 17,800 Ft. Drive through the Zig-Zag Roads of Old Silk route when heading towards Zuluk . Travel through one of the highest accessible passes near Indo China Border - Nathula. See the colourful vista of Yumthang valley - The valley of Flower In the summers. Take out your binoculars and do Bird Watching in Rishikhola. Taste the amazing local cuisine while strolling through MG Marg.

ITINERARY :

Embark on a journey filled with adventure and discovery. Follow our itinerary for unforgettable experiences at every turn.

DAY 1: NJP – Gangtok (120 km) 4:30 hrs. Drive.

Meet and greet on arrival at NJP Railway station/IXB airport and transfer to Gangtok (5,480ft.). On arrival check in to hotel and rest of thee day at leisure. Overnight stay at Gangtok.

DAY 2: Gangtok – Lachen (121 km) 5 hrs. Drive.

After breakfast pick up from hotel at Gangtok & drive to Lachen (8,500 ft). Enroute visit Singhik View point, Seven Sister Water Fall, Naga Water Fall and arrive Lachen by evening. Dinner at hotel. Overnight stay at Lachen.

DAY 3: Lachen – Chopta valley - Gurudongmar (66 km) 2:30 hrs. drive – Lachung (114 km) 4:30 hrs. Drive.

Early Morning drive to Chopta Valley (13,200 ft.) & Gurudongmar Lake (17,800 ft.). Back to hotel. After lunch & drive to Lachung (8,800 ft.). Arrive Lachung by evening. Dinner & Overnight stay at Lachung.

DAY 4: Lachung – Ziro pt. and Yumthang valley (valley of flowers) (52 km) 2 hrs. (drive – Lachung)

After breakfast proceed to Yumthang Valley which is known as Valley of Flowers (11800 Ft / 3598 Mts / 25 Kms ) and Ziro Pt. (15,300ft./26 Kms from Yumthang valley). On the way back, visit Hot Spring considered to have medicinal properties. Back to resort. Overnight stay at Lachung.

DAY 5: Lacung – Gangtok (102 km) 5 hrs. Drive.

After breakfast departure for Gangtok, enroute witness the wonderful Bheema & Twin water falls. On arrival at Gangtok Check-in to your hotel. Overnight stay at Gangtok.

DAY 6: Gangtok – Nathu la, Baba harbhajan Singh and Tsongmo lake (52 km) 2:30 hrs. drive – zuluk (45 km) 2 hrs.(drive)

After breakfast start for an excursion to Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft.),Nathu la (14,140ft.) & Baba Mandir (13,200 ft.) Which is 97 kms one way from Gangtok city. Overnight stay at Zuluk.

DAY 7: Zuluk – NJP (135 km) 5 hrs.(drive)

After breakfast Check-out from hotel and take the departure transfer to NJP Railway Station / IXB Airport for your onward journey.
