OVERVIEW :

Dayara Bugyal is a trek located at an altitude of 11,939 feet, offering a panoramic 360-degree view of the surrounding mountains and open flat areas known as Bugyal. The trek spans 4 days of trekking and 2 days of traveling, allowing you to experience diverse landscapes and witness famous peaks like Mount Bandarpoonch, Mount Srikanth, Mount Jaunli, and Draupti Ka Danda. From the summit, you can also see Mount Bandar Poonch, Mount Kala Naag, Gangotri 1,2 & 3, and a 360-degree view of all the mountains.

The trek trail passes through beautiful forests filled with green and brown oaks and Rhododendron, providing a rich and scenic experience. The trek difficulty is easy-moderate due to some steep ascents and gradual inclines. Starting from Raital village and ending back in Raital, the trek offers a total of 4 days of trekking (or 6 days if pickup and drop point is in Dehradun).

ITINERARY :

Day – 1 ( Dehradun to Raital 7142ft )

Drive from Dehradun to Raital after breakfast.

Drive duration – 7-8 hours.

Drive distance – 185km.

Altitude – 7142ft.

Highlights – at on the way of Raital you can see a Tingling Point, where you can see all Uttrakhand’s highest peaks including Mt. Nanda Devi. Also you can see Teehri Dam & lake. The drive takes you through lovely forest stretches as soon as you exit Dehradun. Within an hour you pass through Mussoorie the famous hill station of Uttrakhand.

Day – 2 ( Raital 7142ft to Gui 9630ft )

Trek Duration – 4-5 hours.

Trek Distance – 3 km.

Altitude Gain – 2488ft ( 7142ft to 9630ft )

Water Sources – Glacial steams

Difficulty – Easy – Moderate. Gradually ascending trek throughout.

Highlight – At Raital you can see Mt. Srikanth and Gangotri 1,2 & 3 in the distance along with the mountains. You can trek in the lovely Oak forest with leafy forest flowers and enjoy the sunset by the lake at Gui.

Day – 3 ( Gui 9630ft to Dayara Bugyal Summit 11950ft to Gui 9630ft )

Trek Duration – 7-8 hours.

Trek Distance – 7 km (14 km up & down).

Altitude Gain/Loss – 2320ft gain / 2320ft loss.

Water Source – Glacial steams.

Difficulty – Moderate. Undulating walk across meadows followed by a final ascent

Highlight – At the top of Deyara Bugyal you can see the grand meadows of Deyara. And at other side you can see all Gangotri Range peaks and Mt. Bandarpoonch. Also you experience some famous mountains Mt. Srikanth,Mt. Gangotri 1,2 & 3, Kala Naag and the panoramic view of all the mountain peaks of Himalayan Range.

Day – 4 ( Gui 9630ft to Raital 7142ft )

Trek Duration – 3-4 hours.

Trek Distance – 3 km.

Altitude Loss – 2488ft.

Water Source – Glacial steams.

Difficulty – Easy. Descents of 1.5-2 hours by a steeply descending trail.

Highlight – The last view of Mt. Bandarpoonch. And go through the beautiful forest of Oak with leafy forest flowers.

Day – 5 ( Raital 9630ft to Dehradun )

Drive Duration – 6-7 hours.

Drive Distance – 185 km.

Highlight – You can enjoy the road trip hugging the Mountains and forest Oak trees and Pine trees. And also you can again see the Teehri dam and Teehri Lake. And the famous hill station of Uttrakhand named Mussoorie.

3 Nights tanted accommodation on a double sharing basis.

Travel through the neat and clean comfortable vehicle.
Trek equipment: sleeping bag, mattress, tent (twin sharing), kitchen & dining tent, toilet tent, utensils and crampon (if required).

EXCLUSIONS :

All kinds of personal expenditures are excluded.
Anything that we have not mentioned above.
The trek cost is not inclusive of meals bought during the journey on the 1st day and last day. (Foods starts from dinner at base camp on day first till last day morning tea coffee)
Mules or porter to charges to carry private baggage (Offload Charges for bag 500 per day, per bag. Note: Bag weight should not be more than 11kg.)
Any kind of emergency evacuation charges
